Ad Revenue up 11.43%, DTH Revenue up 20%, Total Revenues up 9.14 %, EBITDA up 17.21 %, Interim Dividend of 45% declared

· Advertisement Revenue for the quarter ended 30th September ‘14, up 11.43% at Rs. 260.26 crores;

· DTH Revenue for the quarter ended 30th September ‘14, up 20% at Rs. 130.07 crores;

· Total Revenues for the quarter ended 30th September ‘14, up 9.14% at Rs. 509.02 crores;

· Total Income for the quarter ended 30th September ’14 up 5.36% at Rs. 531.22 crores;

· EBITDA for the quarter ended 30th September’14, up 17.21% at Rs. 395.81 crores;

 

Sun TV Network Limited, one of the largest Television Broadcasters in India, operating Satellite Television Channels across four languages of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam and presently airing FM radio stations across India reported its results for the quarter ended 30th September, 2014. For the quarter ended 30th September, 2014, the advertisement revenue was up by 11.43% at Rs. 260.26 crores, as against Rs. 233.56 crores for the corresponding quarter ended 30th September, 2013. The DTH revenue for the quarter was up by 20% atRs.130.07 crores, as against Rs.108.40 crores for the corresponding quarter ended 30th September, 2013.

 

The total revenues for the quarter was up by 9.14% at Rs. 509.02 crores as against Rs. 466.41 crores for the corresponding quarter ended 30th September, 2013.

 

The quarter ended 30th September 2014 also posted a higher Total Income of Rs. 531.22 crores up by 5.36% as against Rs. 504.21 crores for the corresponding quarter ended 30th September 2013.

 

During the quarter ended 30th September, 2014, the EBITDA was up by 17.21% at Rs. 395.81 crores as compared to Rs. 337.68 crores in the previous quarter ended 30th September, 2013.

 

INTERIM DIVIDEND: The Board of Directors has declared an Interim Dividend of Rs. 2.25 per share (45%) on a face value of Rs. 5.00 per share.
