State Bank of India Donates to Pranab Kanya Sangha, Port Blair

State Bank of India as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility activities donated Rs.9,82,881 to Pranab Kanya Sangha in Port Blair for the purchase of a school bus to facilitate transportation of school going children from their Sangha Home.

Pranab Kanya Sangha is a social organization working towards the upliftment of the downtrodden people of the society especially women and children. The inmates and orphan children of the Sangha are provided with all basic needs along with social and educational values by the Bramhacharinies and Sanyasinies who have sacrificed the worldly pleasure towards the noble cause.
