Ms. Sarojini Dikhale Joins LIC Nomura Mutual Fund AMC as Director & Chief Executive Officer

LIC Nomura Mutual Fund AMC today announced the appointment of Ms. Sarojini Dikhale as its new Director & Chief Executive Officer. She is India’s only woman leading an Asset Management Company.

Ms. Dikhale brings with her a rich experience of over 32 years in insurance industry. She joins the AMC from LIC of India where she served the company as an Executive Director.

Prior to this, she was designated as Zonal Manager’s cadre in 2005, where she was deputed to the National Insurance Academy (NIA) Pune as a faculty member which trains senior officials from the life insurance industry. She successfully completed the Direct Training Skills course, Design of training and management of Training courses conducted by Government's Training institute Yashada and she received rich accolades as an outstanding trainer at NIA.

She had joined LIC as a Direct Recruit Officer (AAO) of 12th batch in 1983. She successfully led the Division of Goa for four years as Senior Divisional Manager. Under her leadership, the Goa Division won several awards and accolades for sales and service and also won the Chairman's Trophy for overall excellence.

She has been honored with ''Outstanding Young Indian Award" in 2003 by the Junior Chamber of Indian Jaycees at the hands of the then Honorable Governor of Goa Shri Kedarnath Sahani at Panjim.

She holds bachelor's Degree in Arts, a Master's Degree in Economics from Mumbai University and a post-graduate Diploma in Advance marketing from the International Institute of advanced marketing (IIAM, ACTE approved). She is also a Law graduate and an Associate of the Insurance Institute of India.
