25 Top Indian Designers take Center Stage with “Crafts of India” for the Amazon.in Grand Finale

Bring a Grand Closure to the Amazon India Fashion Week

In a befitting finale to the five day long fashion extravaganza Amazon India Fashion Week, Amazon India hosted a gorgeous spectacle for the Grand Finale celebrations. Themed on ‘Crafts of India’, 25 of India’s renowned designers put together a beautiful creative expression of the luxuriant Indian heritage of crafts and weaves for the finale.

For the first time ever, 25 designers  - Abraham & Thakore, Amit Agarwal, Anamika Khanna, Aneeth Arora, Anju Modi,   Ashish Soni, Gaurav Gupta, JJ Valaya, Manish Arora, Manish Malhotra, Monisha Jaising, Namrata Joshipura, Pankaj & Nidhi, Raghavendra Rathore, Rahul Mishra, Rajesh Pratap Singh, RG+RK, Rina Dhaka, Ritu Kumar, Rohit Bal, Sabyasachi, Suneet Varma, Tarun Tahiliani, Varun Bahl and Wendell Rodricks,  together  set the stage on fire with hues of royal crimson, gorgeous reds and fiery orange, in ensembles that highlighted Indian crafts and weaves at their best.

For the Grand Finale celebrations, the designers crafted an awe-inspiring array of looks across Western, Fusion and Indian lines. The rich variety of creativity and ideas, in colourful garbs started with a western collection, followed by ethnic beauty, themed on the colours of daylight, fading with the deep colours of sunset. The finale culminated in the splendour of Indian wear with luxuriously crafted drapes from everyday to Bridal wear.

The 25th edition of the India Fashion Week could not have been better with an amalgamation of 25 designers coming together on the same stage for the Grand Finale showcasing Indian weaves and crafts. Making this edition even more special was our partnership with Amazon.in. The spectacular Amazon.in Grand Finale marked the end of the 25th season of the India Fashion Week. “We are very happy with the way the first season of AIFW has turned out for us. The Grand Finale was streamed live on the Amazon India Fashion Week page  giving an opportunity to consumers and fashion enthusiasts across India to watch the show and participate in the celebrations.
