Come, Make in India! PM Modi's aggressive push to revive an ailing manufacturing sector, has found  resonance with India Inc. The Make in India program includes major new initiatives designed to facilitate investment, foster innovation, protect intellectual property, and build best-in-class manufacturing infrastructure. Keeping “Make in India” as the central theme, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) today organised a curtain raiser press conference on the occasion of the ensuing 43rd National Convention of Company Secretaries which is scheduled from the 17th till the 19th of December 2015.

CS Atul H Mehta, President of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) while addressing the media stated that“The National Convention would deliberate threadbare the issues related to Make In India as even after one year of the launch of this flagship programme of the Government of India the professional fraternity is left wondering as to what direction to take, what is happening in the business environment or industry and how to make the most of opportunities that present themselves. These are some of the questions that are sought to be answered during the deliberations at the 43rd National Convention of Company Secretaries, as there is still need of a clear direction for moving forward and ways to increase the sustainability of their organizations."
