APM Terminals Pipavav’s (Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd.) Standalone Financial Performance for the Quarter Ended September 30, 2016

APM Terminals Pipavav (Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd), today announced the standalone financial results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016.

 

The company reported a net profit of INR 594 million for Q2FY17 as against INR 875 million in Q2FY16. Total Income for the quarter under consideration stood at INR 1,722 million as against INR 1,490 million in Q2FY16.

 

EBIDTA for the quarter was at INR 986 million and EBIDTA margin stood at 57%.

 

The Container cargo business for the quarter stood at appx. 166 k TEUs, Bulk business was at 705 k MT and Liquid business was at appx. 78 k MT. RoRo business was appx. 22 k units for the quarter under review.

 

Commenting on the results, APM Terminals Pipavav (Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd), Managing Director, Mr. Keld Pedersen said “The quarter showed healthy revenue growth year on year while the quarter on quarter revenue growth was at 3%. We will continue to focus on growth through close co-operation with our customers in a challenging business environment.”
