California Walnut Commission Hosts California Walnut Festival in the Tricity

California Walnut Commission in association with Peddlers, Uncle Jack's and Sindhi Sweets – presents the city’s first ever walnut festival titled.

The month-long festival, which will take place at The Peddlers Elante starting 6^th November 2017, will serve and present Indo-Western fusion delicacies with California Walnuts like Walnut Kebab, Walnut & Cheese Cigar, Walnut Fries, Baked Honey Walnut and Walnut Delight to name a few.

Talking at the event, Ms. Pamela Graviet, Senior Marketing Director, International at California Walnut Board and Commission said, 'The California Walnut Festival’ is the city’s first edition of a walnut festival dedicated to creating an enriching experience for our guests. The idea is to highlight the usage and versatility of walnuts in the tricity and showcase them a ‘go-to’ nut for cooking and snacking, befitting any meal or occasion. Not only are they heart-healthy, but also the only nut with a significant amount of plant-based omega-3 making suitable for vegetarians.
