Cox and Kings Ltd Net Revenues up 26%, Net Profit at Rs 128cr in Q1FY15

Cox & Kings Ltd. the leading holidays and education travel group having operations in 26 countries across continents, today announced its financial results for the first quarter FY 15 (August 14th), 2014.

Q1FY14 Highlights:

Consolidated

§  Net Sales up by 26% to Rs 739 crore as against Rs.586 crore in Q1FY14

§  EBITDA (excl. forex gain/loss) stood at Rs. 351 crore up by 27% (y-o-y) as compared to Rs. 277 crore in  Q1FY14. EBITDA margins was 47.6%.

§  Net profit was 128cr.  Excl Forex Gain/(Loss), the Net Profit was 116cr, as against Rs.74 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Standalone

§  Net Sales stood at Rs. 166 crore as against Rs 146 crore in Q1FY14

§  EBITDA for the quarter stood at Rs. 102 crore as against Rs.89 crore in the corresponding period last year

§  PAT stood at Rs. 59 crore as against Rs.65 crore in Q1FY14

§   Cox & Kings sold their Camping Division – Holidaybreak to  Homair Vacances, a group that specialises in outdoor holidays and is a major player in France, for a consideration of 89.2 Million Pounds.
