Excited to Begin My Outing in a New Avatar with Kalinga Lancers this Time: Gurjinder Singh’s Take on the Upcoming Hero Hockey India League 2015

Known for his passion of hockey and his ‘precision’ in keeping possession of the ball as well as accurate passing, Gurjinder Singh is all set to deliver in the imminent Hero hockey India League 2015, in an all new outfit, representing Kalinga Lancers this year.

Speaking on representing Kalinga Lancers in the upcoming HHIL 2015, defender Gurjinder Singh said, “It is exciting to see yourself as a part of such a celebrated League where both young and experienced players as well as domestic and foreign players get to showcase their skills and prove their worth on an unparalleled platform. The Hero Hockey India League is a stage which helps players like me to learn more each day and better the performance for the next day.”

He further added, “This will be my second outing in the HHIL, but this time with Kalinga Lancers and I am very much excited about it. Kalinga Lancers’ team line-up, I believe, is one of the strongest in the League and with the penalty corner opportunities that will be created by our forward line-up, which includes names like Lalit Kumar Upadhyay,  Argentina’s Lucas Villa and Australia’s Russell Ford, I will give my best to convert most of them into goals.”

The 3rd edition of the Hero Hockey India League will start from the 22nd January 2015. The opening day of the League will witness Kalinga Lancers taking on Ranchi Rays in Bhubaneswar.
