GoAir Begins Operations from Hyderabad

• Daily non-stop flights to Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai and Kolkata

• Flights to Port Blair via Bangalore for leisure travelers

GoAir, one of India’s fastest growing low cost carrier, which recently announced the addition of Hyderabad as its 23^rd destination on its network today commenced operations from Hyderabad. The new Hyderabad schedule introduces daily non-stop flights connecting Hyderabad to Chennai, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar and Kolkata. Hyderabad will also be connected to Port Blair via Bangalore which will provide leisure travelers additional travel option.

In a traditional ceremony GoAir, CEO, Mr. Wolfgang Prock - Schauer and S. G. K. Kishore, CEO GMR Hyderabad International Airport along with Senior officials from GMR lit the auspicious lamp to kick-start their operations and proceeded to receive and send off passengers on these inaugural flights. Passengers were pleasantly surprised with gifts and a personal reception by GoAir at the Hyderabad airport.

Speaking at the occasion, Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, CEO, GoAir said “Hyderabad is a key market in South & Central India and a significant base for business and tourism in the region. This latest addition to GoAir network reflects the airline’s phase of growth with a focus on scaling up operations gradually in the coming weeks while strengthening the value proposition to suit customer’s demand.

Tickets for the new flights  can be booked through the company website, www.Goair.in or online travel portals, GoAir Call Centre, airport ticketing offices, through travel agents and the GoAir mobile app  that is available on both Apple iOS and Google Android. Passengers will be required to download the latest version of the App to be able to make the bookings.
