The airline, as part of the hub carrier strategy, plans to increase connectivity to cities in ASEAN region and beyond through its primary hubs in Delhi and Mumbai during its winter schedule.

Jet Airways flight 9W 064 will depart Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi at 0855 hrs and arrive at Bangkok at 1430 hrs. The flight leaves Bangkok at 1545 hrs to arrive at Tân Sõn Nhất International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City at 1715 hrs (LT).

This would make Jet Airways’ the only Indian carrier to operate three flights a day from Mumbai to Bangkok’s International Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Jet Airways guests from Delhi and Mumbai will now have the option of connecting not only to Ho Chi Minh city, but to several destinations of their choice in ASEAN Region while they transit over Bangkok.

For the airline’s guests from Mumbai, Jet Airways will provide a connecting flight to Ho Chi Minh City via Bangkok. Flight 9W 070 departing Mumbai at 0750 hrs (LT), will arrive at Bangkok at 1345 hrs (LT). This will allow guests to connect onto flight 9W 064 departing Bangkok at 1545 hrs (LT) and arriving at Ho Chi Minh City at 1715 hrs (LT).

Jet Airways is the only Indian carrier to operate three flights a day from Mumbai to Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport.

These new flights are conveniently timed to connect guests travelling from Jet Airways domestic network to ASEAN points.

Jet Airways had in October 2011 signed a comprehensive strategic co-operation agreement with Vietnam Airlines.

Mr. Gaurang Shetty, Senior Vice President – Commercial, Jet Airways, said “Jet Airways is delighted to provide a direct link from Delhi to Ho Chi Minh City via Bangkok and an all new daily direct frequency from Mumbai to Bangkok. The introductions of these new services are in keeping with the growing popularity amongst our guests, for enhanced seamless connectivity within the ASEAN region and India. Both Vietnam and Thailand are emerging as increasingly popular destinations for tourism, trade and investment in Asia and it was only logical for Jet Airways’ to facilitate the same for the Indian traveller. Jet Airways has established itself as a premier brand on account of its service excellence, including quality of its in-flight product, hence we are confident that these new flights would prove equally popular with our guests”
