Our attention has been drawn to the media report to the effect that LIC of India is likely to exit LIC Nomura Mutual Fund Asset Management Company Ltd. and also reduce its holding in LIC Housing Finance Ltd.

LIC of India is a sponsor of LIC Nomura Mutual Fund Asset Management Company Ltd., since 1989 when it was known as LIC Mutual Fund Ltd.

LIC of India wishes to inform that it is neither contemplating nor does it intend to review its present position in relation to LIC Nomura Mutual Fund Asset Management Company Ltd or LIC Housing Finance Ltd.
