Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., a part of the US $16.5 billion Mahindra Group, today announced that it’s technologically advanced 0.85 ton payload mini-truck, Maxximo had completed five years on Indian roads. To commemorate the occasion, the company is offering two unique customer centric initiatives to its customers. Launched in 2010 and now christened Maxximo Plus, the product is already available in the market with class leading product warranty of 2 years or 60,000 KM (whichever is earlier). The 3 years or 1 lakh km warranty on Maxximo Plus engine applicable on vehicles purchased after March 1, 2015, clearly depicts the organisation’s confidence in the product.

About Maxximo Plus:

Unveiled at the 10th Auto Expo 2010 held in New Delhi, the Maxximo was the first product to roll out from Mahindra’s state-of-the-art Chakan plant. In 2013, a refresh of the successful Maxximo, the Maxximo Plus, was launched. Maxximo Plus is a superior offering over its predecessor and offers an enhanced customer value proposition with the simple-to-use Fuel Smart technology, the Maxximo Plus allows the customer to choose between higher power (26 HP; 19.2 kW) OR higher mileage (21.9 km/l), as and when he needs, at the press of a switch. Maxximo Plus also has the delight-features which give it the lead in Comfort, Style & Safety.

Over the past 5 years the Maxximo platform has grown significantly and offers a wide range, which includes the Maxximo Plus and Maxximo CNG in commercial load carrier segment and the Maxximo Mini Van and Maxximo Mini Van VX in the commercial passenger segment. Today, the popularity of the platform can be gauged by the fact that Maxximo has sold over 2.4 lakh vehicles since its launch. The superior value proposition of the Maxximo Plus can be further gauged from its potential to earn up to 30% more, per year, over the competition. This is on account of superior mileage which lowers fuel cost, a lower maintenance cost and the ability to carry more load with faster turn-around time.
