MEEDJ Announces Updates to the Popular Music Mixing App for Windows Phone

MEEDJ today announced updates to MEEDJ, a popular social DJ mixing console app for Windows Phone 8.1.

According to Janosch Lenzi, Co-founder, “MEEDJ was created by myself and my amazing team members Massimo Poli, Chief Technical Officer, Laurie Elie, our designer and of course Roger Esse. All of us love apps that allow you create, discover and interact with music. AppCampus – the AppCampus, the joint program by Aalto University and Microsoft to help developers create high-quality and innovative new apps – provided us with the opportunity to develop MEEDJ. And for all music lovers, we’ve just released an update with a fantastic one-shot promo (GetALL bundle).”

The updated version of MEEDJ includes an amazing Sample Pad – you can use 12 cool samples at a time, for your mixes, without leaving the app – as well as the ability to now share mixes to a worldwide community of music lovers via Sleeve Music.

The MEEDJ app has been developed by a team of 4 members, including Roger Esse, a professional DJ who has played with other DJs of international repute. Using it is simple – all the user has to do is load two audio tracks from his or her music library (or from OneDrive) and start mixing them, by jogging, pitching and applying audio effects. Free sound effects include cue, loops, equalizer, reverse, flanger, echo, low pass filter, band pass filter and high pass filter. The user can upload music tracks to the cloud and share on Facebook and Twitter as well as monitor social engagement level for mixes and playlists.

MEEDJ is available for free on the Windows Phone Store. The paid version (GoPro bundle) comes ad-free and removes the 10’ recording limit, includes detailed social metrics, additional audio filters, cool skins and an amazing Sample Pad. It is also the first DJ app in the world which has been developed native for Windows Phone 8.1.
