Scania Welcomes the Transport Ministry’s move to Advance the Timelines for Emission Norms

Speaking on the development, Mr. Ander Grundströmer, Managing Director, Scania India and Senior Vice President, Scania Group said, “We congratulate the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India, for their progressive move to advance the emission norms by two years. These norms (equivalent to Euro V and VI) will not only boost exports but will also have a huge impact on reducing pollution levels in our country. Scania has been at the forefront of technology and our vehicles in India are already compliant with Euro VI norms. We will continue to support the Government in their initiatives to improve the transport sector in the country.”
