Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co Advises Videocon on the Videocon-Idea Spectrum Deal

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (SAM & Co) advised Videocon Telecommunications Ltd. (VTL) on structuring of the proposed spectrum trading transaction. SAM & Co was also involved in drafting of the memorandum of understanding, for negotiations with the prospective bidder(s).

This is India’s first telecom spectrum trading transaction after notification of Guidelines for Trading of Access Spectrum by Access Service Providers by the Department of Telecommunications on 12 October 2015.
