Lacoste revisits traditional golfing codes in a new collection that exudes a dynamic elegance. Inspired by the curves of the legendary Chantaco golf course and the architectural lines of the city, the City Golf collection is a stylish yet subtle wardrobe. Clear lined and technical pieces designed for unhindered freedom of movement shape a modern look, tailored to the urban player in action.

Lacoste presents a sharp and stylish take on classic golf attire for city streets. A keen sporting energy infuses streamlined and technical pieces that slip seamlessly into the modern everyday wardrobe.

BRAND STORY: HERITAGE HOOK

The golf course was home for Simone Thion de la Chaume, golf champion and wife of René Lacoste, and their daughter Catherine, a golf champion in her own right. The world-renowned golf course Chantaco, located in Saint Jean de Luz, has in fact belonged to the Lacoste family since the twenties and was founded by Simone's father, René Thion de la Chaume. City Golf pays its dues to this elegant setting and family golfing heritage with a collection in which pure lines and urban energy meet.

The Lacoste brand, a symbol of relaxed elegance, was created in 1933 by the famous tennis champion René Lacoste. The Crocodile logo embodies the style and spirit of this champion.

Celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2013, Lacoste has become a ‘lifestyle’ brand today, offering  unique and original universe of clothing for women, men and children, shoes, perfume, leather goods, eyeglasses, belts, watches, home textiles and costume jewelry. Both in daily life and on sports fields, Lacoste bases its success on the essential values of authenticity, performance and elegance. The Lacoste brand has achieved a wholesale turnover of 1.8 billion Euros in 2012 in retailer sales. In the 114 countries where the brand is present, two Lacoste products are sold every second through Lacoste boutiques, corners in department stores and a selective distribution network.
