Tickets for Hero Indian Super League On Sale Now

Tickets attractively priced for all 8 venues and available at www.indiansuperleague.com

Tickets to each of the 58 matches, across all 8 venues of the Hero Indian Super League are now on sale. Football fans that have been eagerly awaiting the kick-off to the inaugural season of the Hero Indian Super League can now book their tickets online at www.indiansuperleague.com. The League is set to kick-off on Sunday, October 12th, 2014 at the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata. The opening ceremony of the league will be telecast starting 6:00 pm across eight channels of the Star network and also be aired on www.starsports.com, whereas, the on-ground stadium entertainment will start 5:20 pm onwards.

 

Tickets in Kolkata, for the inaugural match, including the opening ceremony are priced attractively ranging from Rs 200 for the grandstand to Rs 2500 for the popular hospitality seats. Students in Kolkata can avail of a flat 50% discount on tickets priced at Rs 200, Rs 300, Rs 400 and Rs 750, while fans of the local football teams, namely Mohun Bagan, Mohammedan Sporting and East Bengal too can avail of the flat 50% discount on tickets priced between Rs. 200 to Rs 750. Similarly, fans in the North East will have to pay only between Rs 100 to Rs 1000 to purchase tickets for matches in the league phase.

 

Tickets in New Delhi are priced between Rs 200 and Rs 6000 for all matches. Tickets in Goa and Mumbai start from Rs 100 and Rs 125 respectively, while the popular seating at both these venues will be priced at Rs 2500. The Hero Indian Super League extravaganza can be experienced in Chennai for tickets ranging between Rs 100 to Rs 5000 and for matches in Pune, it would priced between Rs 300 – Rs 3500.

The Hero Indian Super League is co-promoted by IMG-Reliance (the joint venture between IMG and Reliance Industries) and Star India along with the support of All India Football Federation (AIFF). India’s leading industrialists and celebrities from sports as well as the Indian film industry have invested in owning the eight city franchises of the Indian Super League.

 

This league will set the benchmark for every other sport in India and it will be telecast live across eight channels in five languages of the Star network: Star Sports 2 (English), Star Sports 3 (Hindi), Star Sports HD 2 (English), Star Gold (Hindi), Star Utsav (Hindi), Asianet Movies (Malayalam), Jalsha Movies (Bengali) and Suvarna Plus (Kannada). Furthermore, it would also be aired live on www.starsports.com.

 

The grand opening ceremony of the Indian Super League on Sunday, October 12th 2014, would have key performances including one by Bollywood Diva and international pop icon Priyanka Chopra, another by percussionist extraordinaire Sivamani and the third by Salim Merchant of the Salim and Suleiman famed duo amongst others. Following the opening ceremony, viewers will witness some high voltage action at the mecca of India football – Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata – in the opening match between Atletico De Kolkata and Mumbai City FC.

 

The Hero Indian Super League will feature eight Franchises and will feature 61 matches over 70 days. The top 4 Franchises in the league will contest the semifinals and the victorious semifinalists will meet in the Grand Final.
