Young Girls Ready to take on New Zealand in their Third Match of the New Zealand Tour

After dishing out a rewarding display knotting the score with 2-2 in the last match played against New Zealand, the Indian Junior Women Team is confident to show a powerful clash in their third test match tomorrow in the ongoing New Zealand Tour being played at the TET Multisports Centre, Stratford.  This tour is in preparations for the Junior Women Asia Cup to be held next year.

 

The young squad led by defender Deep Grace Ekka is determined to come up with a much more convincing display against the host showcasing a strong side of the team utilising their strategies and tactics that they have planned to implement during the games.

 

Speaking ahead of the match against New Zealand, Chief Coach, Neil Hawgood said,The team has been consistently giving a fair attempt in the previous matches. Tomorrow’s match is expected to be more tactful and our priority will be to overcome the mistakes committed in the last matches in order to improve the game. The girls intend to be stronger mentally and give a tough time to the opponents.

 

Speaking on the match tomorrow, Captain Deep Grace Ekka said, “We always strive to give a strong challenge to the opponents. Our aim is to shape ourselves in a manner where we are prepared to take on the pressure and deliver good results in every match we play.
