The Saveetha Oral Cancer Institute is a ‘One of its kind’ institute where a Dental College has an exclusive Oral Oncology department with an in-campus Radiotherapy Facility. The guiding principle of our institute is to give compassionate care which is affordable too for the patient . We have a multidisciplinary team comprising of an Onco- surgeon, a radiation oncologist, a medical oncologist, a pathologist, physiotherapist and many allied dental department support for providing holistic care for oral cancer patients. The institute also participates in an active community reach program by coordinating with out community dentisty department to create tobacco cessation clinics and awareness programs as a social responsibility.
Saveetha Oral Cancer Institute conducts a free cancer screening and awareness program in commemoration of world cancer day on 4th February 2022. Cancer becomes the second cause of death globally.
