The medical profession has always been called “The Nobel Profession”. And rightfully so. Through times of pain and illness we turn with faith to these practitioners of medicine to comfort and cure us. And they work day in and day out to help us. For them, work never ends.
The demands on these doctors are physical, mental and emotional.
Never were they more put to test as they were, in the last few years when we collectively battled the pandemic. How many doctors put their own lives at risk to try and save the many who were dealing with a mysterious illness?

Sitaram Jaipuria Medical & Healthcare Excellence Awards have been created with a deep sense of respect. It aims to shine a light on the many doctors who are our backbone and safe harbour. The awards are the first of its kind to be set up in India.
The awards will equally encompass practitioners in rural and urban areas. Many a time doctors on far flung places are unsung heroes. They too must be seen.
