Ather Energy Pvt. Ltd. is an automobile manufacturing company founded in the year 2013 by IIT graduates-Tarun
Mehta and Swapnil Jain. Ather is committed to building smart, connected and uncompromising vehicles and
lead the transition to sustainable transport in the country. The team of about 50 employees is currently
developing an electric two-wheeler, which will be a completely ‘Designed in India’ product that has been
conceptualized, designed and engineered within the country. This first of its kind product will be a smart vehicle
with a futuristic design and connected functionality that aims to redefine urban commute.
Ather Energy, a Bangalore based start-up, that builds smart electric two-wheelers announced the appointment of Ravneet Phokela as its Chief Business Officer. In his new role, Ravneet will oversee marketing, sales and customer experience for the company.
