Long Night of LiteratureS is a unique initiative by the collaborative effort of Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Georgia, France, Hungary, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Switzerland, Spain and the Delegation of the European Union to India, in order to celebrate the linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe.
The format of the event gives the audience the opportunity, to listen to various authors reading from their work followed by an interactive open session where listeners could get the chance to ask questions to the writers and exchange about their common passion: the written and spoken word .
Celebrating the linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe, 10 authors from different European countries travelled to India for an extraordinary night of literary encounters: ‘Long Night of LiteratureS 2018’.
