The shotgun sports are some of the most exhilarating and exciting of all the shooting sports. Passionate and professional members of the Tricity Shotgun Shooters’ Collective like Ganemat Sekhon (First Indian woman to win ISSF World Cup Medal) and Angad Veer Singh Bajwa (Gold Medalist, 62nd National Shotgun Championship) who brought recent fame to the city and the country after her commendable performance at the Asian Games, 2018 held at Jakarta (Indonesia), along with other renowned medalist Amrinder Singh Cheema, Gurjoat Singh Khangura, Namanveer Brar, Prabhsukman Brar, Indereshwar Singh Sekhon, Bhavtegh Gill, Sohrab Gill and Tavrez Singh Sandhu recently got together at an event held at Chandigarh Golf Club to request the concerned authorities for building an infrastructure to suffice shotgun sport training and tournaments within the tricity.
