Shehla Khan was born into the world of fashion and always used to hang around her father’s business of embroidery. From a very young age, she knew that fashion is her forte and that’s exactly what she saw herself doing in the future. She worked with Manish Malhotra during her early graduation and was exposed to the many facets of fashion, after which she went to study at the London School of Fashion and Instituto Marangoni. She started her own studio in the early phase of 2011. The philosophy she takes to when she designs is simple, giving Indian couture a westernized touch. The label comprises a lot of feminine designs, sheer fabrics, delicate laces vand almost any supple fabric that can be fashioned into a pretty result The label’s past collections were successfully showcased at the Lakme Fashion Week thrice with the gorgeous showstoppers Karishma Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandes and Nargis Fakhri. Every new collection is backed by the different seasons, new inspirations and Shehla's mood at the time.
