ACME Celebrates National Safety Month to Create Safety Awareness

 - Covers 800 telecom sites in Gurgaon

- Trains 850 employees at these sites

- Employees take pledge for Safety Campaign

With a view to create an agile and safe working environment for its employees and spread awareness around the company’s safety practises, ACME Group, India’s leading clean energy player is observing the 45th National Safety Month Campaign in the month of March across all their telecom sites and solar plants.

The Campaign is aimed at renewing the commitment of the employees, stakeholders and general public with an aim to ensure maintenance processes and practices across solar power and telecom projects throughout the year. The ultimate objective of the campaign is to ensure integration of OSH (Occupational Safety & Health) in the company work culture and life style.

Commenting on the company’s health and safety practises, Mr. Samir Sharan, CEO, ACME said, “The National Safety Month is a validation of the best practises that are present in the DNA of the company. We understand the risks associated with the establishment of manufacturing units and adhere to uncompromising standards of Health, Safety and Environment best practises across our units. As part of the initiative to spread awareness, ACME commenced the celebrations with the employees taking a health & safety pledge led by the senior leadership of the company and distribution of safety badges to employees.  In the spirit of observing the health, safety and environmental concerns at facilities, company personnel also conducted practical demonstrations and trainings on the use of fire fighting, electrical tools safety, road safety, first aid etc. Other activities included a safety quiz and painting competition for the employees, followed by rewards and sweets distribution.

ACME is displaying specially designed promotional literatures and utility banners carrying topical messages on Occupational Safety & Health to help employees effectively organize and observe the 45th National Safety Month celebrations. These utility articles are broad-based that are useful to field employees.
