AEGON Religare Life Insurance Wins the Marketing Campaign of the Year at the Global Marketing Excellence Awards 2014

AEGON Religare Life Insurance (ARLI) has won the ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ under the category of Organizational Awards at the ‘Global Marketing Excellence Awards 2014’, in Mumbai. This award was bestowed on the company for an innovative marketing campaign entitled ‘Wonder Cook’.

The award seeks to commend an organization for bringing special focus on marketing initiatives. The main objective of the ‘Wonder Cook’ campaign was to engage with ARLI’s existing customer base by offering them a chance to showcase their culinary skills. The interested participants shared their best recipes, and the final shortlisted contestants got to be a part of a thrilling cooking competition, chaired and judged by celebrity Chef Sanjeev Kapoor.

This campaign reached out to our entire customer base and we received over 200 entries which were whittled down to 50 and then to 10. As a part of this initiative we also published a recipe book comprising some of the top entries. We will continue with such customer-focused initiatives.”

The Global Marketing Excellence Awards were held at the TheTajLands End in Mumbai on November 15, 2014.
