Baroda Pioneer AMC Appoints Oliver Bilal as CEO

Baroda Pioneer Asset Management Company Limited (“Baroda Pioneer AMC”) today said it appointed Oliver Bilal as its Chief Executive Officer effective 6^th January 2015. The appointment of Mr. Bilal is a significant step towards strengthening the management team of Baroda Pioneer AMC.

Mr. Bilal was the Managing Director, Head of Sales & Marketing in Pioneer Investments KAG, Germany where he was responsible for distribution, marketing & product management across the region. Prior to joining Pioneer Investments in 2011, Oliver was the Director in Allianz Global lnvestors Europe 2006 to 2011.

Oliver began his career in 1997 -98 as a trainee in Bayerische Hypotheken- und Wechselbank AG, Munich (Germany). He worked with Pension Consult GmbH, Munich (Germany) as a Senior Investment Consultant managing institutional clients. He joined Allianz Global Investors Europe (formerly Deutscher lnvestment Trust GmbH (DIT)), Frankfurt & Munich (Germany) as Senior Investment Consultant Relationship Manager.  While managing institutional mandates and managing relationships to global investment consultants in Germany, Austria and Switzerland together with PIMCO. He moved up the ladder serving Allianz Global lnvestors Europe Paris (France), Munich (Germany) from Vice President to becoming Director. 

Oliver has a Post Graduate Diploma in University of Applied Sciences of Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel (Germany) in banking and insurance administration, MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, Chicago (USA) Harvard Business School, Boston (USA) Executive Leadership Program (AGI top talent pool) Boston University, Boston (USA), Executive Education Program (Pioneer top talent pool). Oliver was also nominated to the AGI Harvard top talent Pool and young talent pool HVB Group.
