Best of Talent Seen at the Delhi Zonal Round of Maruti Suzuki 'Colours of Youth'

Maruti Suzuki ‘Colours of Youth’, the multi-faceted talent hunt designed for the youth of today, is back! Connecting with Gen-Y, the fourth edition of the nationwide talent hunt for India's most versatile youth concluded its Delhi edition at Amity University Noida. Through 17 performances in both solo and group categories, students from Delhi and Chandigarh, showcased their talents across music, dance, theatrics, mimicry, photography and stand-up-comedy to compete for a place in the Colours of Youth - North Zone finals.

Out of the 17 exciting performances, 6 performances were chosen to represent North Zone finals in the Grand National finale to be held in March 2015 in Delhi. The winners will get a chance to win a brand new Maruti Suzuki Swift and other exciting prizes. Organized by Maruti Suzuki, Colours of Youth is the platform that lets students follow their passions. This competition not only tests participants on their talents but on their intellectual capability as well. In its fourth season now, the talent hunt saw an overwhelming participation from 277 students across Delhi and Chandigarh from reputed professional colleges like IIT, IIFT MDI, NIFT, Fore School of Management, FMS, Delhi School of Engineering and Amity to name a few.

The panel of judges comprises of renowned Bollywood actress Perizaad Zorabian and Nikhil Chinappa, a well well-known radio jockey, video jockey and popular presenter TV presenter. The judges were impressed by the talents shown in the Delhi zonal round and are eager to witness the performances of students in other cities.

It’s a matter of pride for us to offer a national level platform where multi-talented students get a chance to present their unique skills and an opportunity to excel beyond academics. The enthusiastic audience cheered for their favourite teams and showed their support by using the digital platform through tweets, using the Hashtag ‘#MarutiSuzukiCOY’.

Maruti Suzuki Colors of Youth is an institutional level competition spanning over a period of 5 months. These were leading business schools across 10 cities present in the initial phase of regional rounds. These cities include Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Guwahati, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune and Chennai. These city rounds will be followed by zonal finals in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore. The Mega Finale shall be held in March 2015. The winners will get a chance to win a brand new Maruti Suzuki Swift and other exciting prizes.
