Dena Bank Celebrates Women’s Day

Dena Bank, ‘India’s trusted family bank’ celebrated Women's Day by organizing a Free Health Check up, blood Donation camp and also donated wheel chairs to handicapped people. Shri Ashwani Kumar Chairman & Managing Director, Dena Bank also donated blood on this occasion and supported the noble cause (seen in the picture- Smt Trishna Guha, Executive Director and Smt Jaya Chakraborty, Dy. General Manager of Dena Bank). The event, coordinated by the Bank Women's cell also witnessed various competitions such as Rangoli, Fancy dress for staff kids, games & a cultural program for staff of Dena Bank. Women Achievers Smt. Anuradha Gore and Manashri Soman (Visually impaired since birth), Kabaddi players were also felicitated on this occasion.

In its platinum jubilee year, Dena Bank was founded on May 26, 1938 by the family of Devkaran Nanjee under the name Devkaran Nanjee Banking Company Ltd. It became a Public Ltd. Company in December 1939 and later the name was changed to Dena Bank Ltd.
