Determined to Start the Tournament on a Positive Note, Uttar Pradesh Wizards Commences with their Training Sessions

With the Hero Hockey India League set to begin from 22 January 2015, the Uttar Pradesh Wizards were seen sweating it out during their first practice session starting today at 32 Battalion PAC Ground, Lucknow.

To keep up with the pace and the competitive spirit of the game that Hero Hockey India League offers, the team seemed focussed during the entire training session and confident in putting up a tough challenge for their opponents.

Speaking post the practice session, VR Raghunath Captain Uttar Pradesh Wizards said, “As all of us know each other and get along pretty well, the first practice session today concluded on a comfortable note. Though, it was only the half of the team that practiced today, we are excited that the foreign players will be joining us soon. We are determined to start the tournament on a positive note and put up a good show this season.”

The Uttar Pradesh Wizards will open the season at their home ground against Delhi Waveriders on 23^rd January 2015 (Friday) at 1500 HRS (IST).
