TAFE Motors and Tractors Limited (TMTL) a wholly owned subsidiary of TAFE launched its lower horse power (hp) range 5/7.5 kVA Diesel Generators (DG) in Hyderabad as part of the nation-wide launch. TMTL will be the first company in India to exclusively offer engines with 1500 rpm to power 5/7.5 kVA DG sets, improving reliability and quality of power. The launch at Hyderabad is the last in the series of launches held across India and the products have garnered positive reviews at all locations. The existing DG sets market for this range consists of products which are either Automobile application engine powered at 3000rpm or agriculture engines which are adjusted to suit 5/7.5kVA DG requirements.

The Hyderabad launch was highly successful as 31 gensets were delivered to expectant customers.
