Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi to Join NASSCOM in its Silver Jubliee Celebration and Share his Vision for the Industry in Nation Building

The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM), is delighted to host Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi on the occasion of the silver jubilee celebrations of industry and to envision the future of the Indian IT-ITeS industry and its contribution to the growth of the Indian economy. Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Sh. Ravi Shankar Prasad and Minister of State for Finance Sh. Jayant Sinha, will also grace the occasion which is scheduled for the 1^st March 2015 at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.

After the program, NASSCOM will host a special discussion with Sh. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister for Communications and Information Technology and Sh. Jayant Sinha, Minister of State for Finance, talking to industry leaders on the Union Budget 2015 and the opportunities in-store for the Indian IT-BPM industry.

The event will be marked by the presence of industry luminaries like Mr. NR Narayana Murthy, Founder, Infosys; Mr. Azim Premji, Chairman, WIPRO; Mr. N. Chandrasekaran, CEO and MD, TCS; Mr. R. Chandrasekaran, Executive Vice-Chairman, Cognizant, and Chairman, NASSCOM; Mr. BVR Mohan Reddy, Executive Chairman, Cyient, and Vice-Chairman, NASSCOM; and other industry leaders. The sector has grown from USD 10 million to USD 120 billion, creating a phenomenal impact on the Indian economy while highlighting the position of the industry as a trusted partner globally which now plays a key role in the business strategies of global customers. The event will also showcase Industry’s journey in bringing innovation to the country and creating technology innovations to address India’s unmet needs and untapped potential. With India all set to play a vital role in the 21^st century, the Indian IT-BPM sector will play an even more important role and will continue be transformation partners for countries and companies alike. The cumulative learning of the industry acquired over the years can now be leveraged to build strong partnerships with the government by working through various collaborative approaches to build a better India.
