KARVY Private Wealth, the wealth management arm of KARVY Group, a leading financial-services conglomerate, today announced the appointment of Mr. Abhijit Bhave as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company. In his current role as CEO, Abhijit is responsible for the company’s business in India and the Middle East.

With an overall experience of over 20 years across the wealth management and financial services industry, Abhijit joins KARVY Private Wealth after an 8 year stint at Deutsche Bank across various leadership positions in India & Overseas. He has also held leadership positions at HSBC, ICICI Bank and Unit Trust of India in Asset Management, Corporate Banking, Cash Management, Retail Banking and Wealth Management.

Abhijit earned his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai University. He has also completed his CAIIB, AMFI and IRDA certifications. He has keen interest in customer education and works actively on areas such as Financial Planning for Women and Gen Y.
