Leading Indian Businessman Anand Mahindra has been Named the New Trustee for London’s Natural History Museum

Mahindra will bring to the Museum Board a depth of expertise in business and leadership and his co-opted appointment is for an initial four-year term from 1 January 2015.

Since 2012 Anand Mahindra has held the role of Chairman and Managing Director of Mahindra Group, a £10.5 billion ($16.5 billion) organisation that is one of India’s top 10 industrial houses. 

He has held a series of progressively senior roles in the Mahindra Group, having started his career at Mahindra Ugine Steel Company (MUSCO). He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, having also completed undergraduate studies at Harvard College.
