MD & CEO, Yes Bank, Mr. Rana Kapoor Felicitated for Valuable Contribution Towards Promoting India – Australia Bilateral Relations

The Indo Australian Chamber of Commerce (IACC) organized the Indo Australian Business Summit at the World Trade Center, Mumbai. The Summit focused on Australian Visa Procedures and Business Opportunities. The event saw participation from leading Australian business leaders & dignitaries, as also Indian Business groups with focus on Australia.

Mr. Rana Kapoor, MD & CEO, YES BANK and President ASSOCHAM was the Chief Guest and delivered a key note on Indo Australia trade & investment ties and key opportunities which could be tapped with certain policy intervention and support.

At the event, Mr. Rana Kapoor was felicitated by The Hon. Steven Ciobo, MP & Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministers for Foreign Affairs and Trade & Investment Australia and Hon. Counsel General for Australia to India – Mr. Mark Pierce. Mr. Kapoor was felicitated for his exemplary contribution towards promoting Indo-Australian bilateral relations

In 2013, YES BANK entered into a strategic agreement with Australian Trade Commission (AUSTRADE), to mutually collaborate and co-operate on information sharing, business development, syndications, lending, trade finance and remittances. This Indo-Australian research collaboration will draw out the best practices in the agriculture sector in Australia and their adaptation in the Indian context.

In 2015, Mr. Rana Kapoor was also felicitated for his exemplary contribution towards promoting Indo-Canada bilateral relations, by the High Commission of Canada and the Indo-Canada Business Chamber (ICBC).
