MSME Development Forum to Organize 5th MSME Expo in New Delhi from 21st to 23rd June

  • MSME Development Forum will be organizing the expo in association with FICCI- CMSME as the industry partner and KPMG as its knowledge partner

 

MSME Development Forum will be organizing the 5th India International MSME Start-Up Expo from 21st-23rd June 2018 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The event is organized in association with the India Trade Promotion Organization and will witness participation from start-ups, MSMEs, innovators, budding and young entrepreneurs as well as traders, manufacturers, importers, exporters from different parts of the country.

During the three-day event, exhibitors will be putting up stalls while visitors will get plenty of opportunities to find new business opportunities, attend speaker sessions and startup fest. The forum will also address the numerous challenges being faced by small as well as medium entrepreneurs via different sessions, which will be hosted and chaired by dignitaries and experts.

 

Sharing more details around the expo Shri Rajnish Goenka, Chairman - MSMEs Development Forum stated, “At MSME- DF, we look forward to meeting the unique requirements of the MSMEs and start-ups in India. Through our forum, we wish to address their concerns and help them to overcome challenges related to smooth operations. The core objective of the expo is to inspire as well as encourage the youth and budding entrepreneurs to set up their own enterprises as well as focus on educating them about the primary differences between MSME and startup.”

 

It must be noted that the MSME Development Forum is basically a professionally managed non-profit organization led by Sh. Rajnish Goenka, National Convener, BJP Micro & Small Industry Cell - 2014, National Board Member, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, Independent Director MMTC Limited, Member Managing Committee, FICCI-CMSME, along with several other eminent parliamentarians, bureaucrats, professionals and media heads that form a part of its advisory board are working as catalyst between the government and MSMEs, startups, budding entrepreneurs industry stakeholders and are being appropriately motivated and inspired by the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi.

 

The forum also aims at spreading information and awareness around a multitude of government schemes and transforming job seekers into job creators. The expo will help aspiring entrepreneurs, businesses and MNCs in establishing global connect, promoting their businesses, networking with the right partners and spreading awareness around entrepreneurship in the country. The expo will help upcoming entrepreneurs and business enthusiasts in developing, promoting as well as propelling the growth of trade, industry, MSMEs, young entrepreneurs, start-ups and others.

 

The 5th MSME Expo and Startup Fest will also help upcoming entrepreneurs in identifying new markets for growth and expansion. Startups will also be able to establish strong partnerships with manufacturers and display their new innovations, products & services before a huge set of buyers and visitors.

 

Since its formation, MSME Development Forum has worked as a catalyst between the central/state government, business community and budding young entrepreneurs. The forum has also aided policy making and successfully implemented various government initiatives such as Make in India, Make Entrepreneurial India, Transforming Job Seekers to Job Creators & World's Manufacturing Hub, Digital India, Smart Cities, Stand-Up India among others.

 

The event will also witness participation from Union & State Ministers as well as other stakeholders like budding entrepreneurs, corporate, innovators, banks, PSUs, businessman, industries, investors, foreign countries/ embassies/ delegates, business chambers & associations, buyers/ sellers/ franchisers, service support providers, universities as well as media. During the expo, event organizers will also be giving MSME Excellence awards and Start-Up Innovation awards. The expo will be visited by over 20000 visitors while more than 250 Exhibitors will be putting up their stalls.

 

According to the expo organizers, MSMEs would play a significant role in the economic growth of the country. During the expo, MSMEs will get a host of opportunities to promote their mutual business, establish cross-border partnerships as well as set up a potent platform for business leaders and the decision makers.
