NAO Spirits Launches its First Limited Release Gin 'Juniper Bomb' in Maharashtra and Karnataka

NAO Spirits, the trailblazers of Indian craft-gin space and the makers of Greater Than and Hapusa, launched their first limited-release gin - The Juniper Bomb in Maharashtra and Karnataka. The brand celebrated three years of being India’s first craft gin, Greater Than by introducing this new variant recently to push the envelope once again and continue to challenge the status quo of Gin in the country.

Juniper Bomb escalates the core ingredient of gin, the juniper berry, to a whole new level by infusing it in three different ways for thrice the duration as compared to Greater Than. Simply put, the limited-edition Gin has three times the amount of Juniper intensity, which makes for quite an intense cocktail or G&T. It is a Gin for those who truly like their Gin.

The robust spirit was developed by accident when the lights went out in NAO Spirits’ distillery based in Goa. The delayed distillation process resulted in Juniper berries steeping much longer than needed in the spirit. The tasting notes of the final product were electric, almost like biting straight into a plum juniper berry; that's when Juniper Bomb was conceived. It’s a bold and complex gin with a lingering taste of lychees. The limited release is now available in Bengaluru, Maharashtra and Goa.

The homegrown-spirit company is the brandchild of Anand Virmani, Aparajita Ninan and Abhinav Rajput, who passionately created India’s first craft-gin, Greater Than for the Gin enthusiasts of India. NAO Spirits is growing exponentially and its brands are now available in Goa, Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, West Bengal and Telangana and exported to 15 countries across the world. The goa-based spirits brand also recently raised USD 2 Million as a Series A Investment which would help them expand their availability in 5 more Indian states and several international markets.
