Mr. Thampy Kurian Ranked Among Most Talented HR Leaders in Asia

Mr. Thampy Kurian, Head-Human Resource, Federal Bank has been ranked among the 40 Most Talented HR Leaders in Asia & the Pacific Islands, by ASIA PACIFIC HRM AWARDS. This honour is the 3rd recognition in a row that was conferred on Federal Bank for its HR excellence during the current year including the last one being the 4th Annual Greentech HR Award 2014.

The awardees were honoured in a function held at Vivanta by Taj, Bangalore on 11th September 2014. The ranking was done by an independent cell of experts in the field of management whose short listing was reviewed by an eminent Jury of senior professionals from across the globe.

Shri Thampy Kurian has 39 years of rich experience in various domains of banking. Within a short span of assuming charge as the HR head of the bank, he has brought in salutary reforms on HR front including several welfare measures for retired employees. He could improve upon the employee loyalty to the bank, streamline the recruitment strategies of the bank, introduce supportive reforms & welfare measures for working mothers and bring in more transparency in transfers and promotions and in mitigating employee grievances.
