Roelant Oltmans Conducts High Performance Coaching Clinic in Rohtak Today

Hockey India’s Director High Performance Mr. Roelant Oltmans conducted one day High Performance Coaching Clinic at Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex in Rohtak, Haryana today. Almost 30 coaches participated in the High Performance Coaching Clinic organized by Hockey Haryana in association with Hockey India.

During the Coaching Clinic, Mr. Oltmans shared the latest coaching techniques and new strategies of the highest level in international hockey with the participant coaches. He additionally shared his expertise with the coaches about the advancements in the game and how to prepare the young players in this speedy sport. Mr. Oltmans showed tutorial videos relating to coaching, strategies and the team coordination on the field.

This interactive session also witnessed various Q&As by the coaches which were righteously adhered to, giving a positive end to the coaching clinic.

Speaking after the Coaching Clinic, Hockey India’s Director High Performance, Mr. Roelant Oltmans said, “The one-day coaching clinic was a great success today. All the coaches are well informed about the sport but at the same time it was a pleasure to see their keenness to learn more about the new techniques, strategies and skill sets that are being adapted internationally.”

The High Performance Coaching Clinic was inaugurated by Dr. Davinder Dhull, Director Sports Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak and Mr. Sunil Malik, General Secretary Hockey Haryana was also present on the occasion.
