Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Appoints G V Anand Bhushan as Partner and Head of Office for Chennai

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (the Firm) has invited G V Anand Bhushan to the partnership of the Firm. GV Anand Bhushan will head the Firm’s new Chennai office and has joined the Firm with effect from 1 July 2016.

After his graduation from Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, Chennai, Anand completed his LLM in Global and US Legal Studies at the Case Western Reserve University, School of Law, Cleveland. Anand was a Fulbright Scholar and was awarded for his exceptional contribution to the Case Law School’s international law program.

After managing his own firm of Bhushan & Rajaram for 4 years, Anand joined Cognizant Technology Solutions as general counsel responsible for legal, compliance, Government affairs and as a member of the board of Cognizant APAC. He was honoured as the General Counsel of the Year 2014, as an innovation champion for introducing innovative leadership and processes by Cognizant as also further awarded for his outstanding contribution for the growth and development of Cognizant Technology Solutions. He was responsible for managing 70 lawyers over multiple verticals in APAC and North America.
