Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Appoints Karthik Mahalingam as the Head of its Bangalore Office and National Practice Head – Venture Capital

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, one of India’s leading full-service law firms, has appointed Mr. Karthik Krishnan Mahalingam as the Head of its Bangalore office and National Practice Head – Venture Capital.

Shardul S. Shroff, Executive Chairman, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas said, “We are delighted that Karthik is re-joining us after a successful stint with Omidyar. Mr. Mahalingam joins the Firm from Omidyar Network, a Silicon Valley investment firm established by Pierre Omidyar, the founder of eBay. At Omidyar, he has worked on venture transactions in India, South East Asia and Africa, focused on consumer internet & mobile, financial inclusion and education. He was earlier a Partner with Amarchand Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co until 2011, and had worked in their Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad offices.
