Shriram Transport Finance Q1FY17 Results

The Board Meeting of Shriram Transport Finance Company Limited (STFC), the largest asset financing NBFC in the country, was held today to consider the unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended 30^th June, 2016.

First quarter ended 30^th June, 2016
The Net Interest Income for the first quarter ended 30^th June, 2016 stands at Rs. 1,346.10 crores as against Rs. 1,135.61 crores in the same period of the previous year. The profit after tax stands at Rs. 374.10 crores as against Rs. 321.11 crores recorded in the same period of the previous year. The earning per share (basic) for the first quarter ended 30^th June, 2016 stands at Rs. 16.49 as against Rs 14.15 recorded in the same period of the previous year.
 

Assets Under Management
Total Assets under Management as on 30^th June, 2016 stands at Rs. 74,808.46 crores as compared to Rs. 60,531.72 as on 30^th June, 2015.
 

Appointment of Director
On the recommendation of Nomination Remuneration and Compensation Committee, the Board of directors appointed Mr. Ramakrishnan Subramanian (holding DIN 02192747) appointed as an Additional Director of the Company with immediate effect in the category of Non Executive Non–Independent Director.
