Third Edition of HHIL Continues to Welcome Rajeev Shukla as a Part of the Advisory Board of the Hero Hockey India League

With a successful completion of being associated with Hockey India League in the first 2 editions and its success, Former Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs & Planning Mr. Rajeev Shukla, Member Parliament – Rajya Sabha will be seen continuing as a member of the Advisory Board of the Hero Hockey India League in the 3rd & 4th edition of the League. Mr. Shukla also has to his credit of being the Chairman of Indian Premier League.  This year again, Mr. Shukla will be seen playing an important role in the Hero Hockey India League.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajeev Shukla said, “It is a very proud feeling and I am committed towards continuing to put in the extra efforts for the welfare of the sport in India. Hockey is beginning to make huge inroads on the international platform again and it’s a proud moment for each and every Indian. This is the occasion to do our bit by standing by this game which has always brought us laurels in the past.”

Speaking on the appointment, Hero Hockey India League, Chairman, Dr. Narinder Batra said, "We look forward to Mr. Rajeev Shukla’s support this year and we are sure he will continue to bring to the Board his huge experience, which will help us make the League more successful this year. We are excited that the Hero Hockey India League will see newer platforms of success as we intend to venture into newer avenues in terms of our marketing strategies and this will be a boost with his presence on the Board."

Hockey India League is scheduled to kick-start from 22 January 2015.
