Vice President, Senior Cabinet Ministers to Address ICAI National Cost Convention

58th National Cost Convention to focus on Role of CMAs: From Intent to Action

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India is organizing the National Cost Convention 2018. The convention will be held at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on March 16th and 17th. Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Hon’ble Vice President of India has kindly consented to inaugurate the national cost convention as the Chief Guest. Shri P. P. Chaudhary, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Law & Justice and Corporate Affairs and Shri Injeti Srinivas, Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, have also kindly consented to grace the inaugural Session as Guests of Honour. 

 

                  

 

58th National Cost Convention 2018

 

CMA Sanjay Gupta, President of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) will deliver the welcome address. During this session, Hon’ble MOS, Law & Justice and Corporate Affairs will release two research publications of the Institute - “Cost Governance” and “Self-Sustainability Model for Panchayats through Capacity Building”. 

 

The Institute will organize a special session at 1400 hours on 16th March 2018 which will be chaired by Shri Suresh Prabhu, Hon’ble Union Minister of Commerce & Industry. During the session, the Institute and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) will enter into a MOU for training of 2 lacs youth in the area of Finance and Accounting including GST under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana. On the second day of the Convention, Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Railways & Coal will Chair a special session.

 

Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla, Hon’ble Minister of State for Finance has also consented to be the Chief Guest for the valedictory programme on March 17th.

 

The NCC 2018 will be a great occasion for all the CMAs from across the globe to assemble and deliberate upon the important economic development nationally and globally and come to a conclusion on the steps to be taken.

 

This two-day Convention will deliberate on the following topics by the eminent speakers across the country:
