Ekta although is not a professional chef but very passionate cook and has been training herself especially on Indian/mughlai/punjabi cuisine since a young age. the idea struck her after shifting to gurgaon and coming across the large immigrant population who struggle to find professional services offering simple, hygienic home cooked food since that’s what they miss on a regular basis. we all have exotic menu’s being pushed around in multitude but the simple home cooked food that reminds us of our mother cooking are rare to find and that’s what gave rise to the brand: “Thepunjabkitchen”
