State Bank of India Launches sbiINTOUCHLITE Branches in 3 Cities

Smt. Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairman, SBI launched the sbiINTOUCHLite series of branches in 3 cities of Kochi, Gurgaon and Pune. 7 sbiINTOUCH branches are currently active in 6 cities. sbiINTOUCHLite would now take the Digital Banking initiative forward to many more towns and cities across the country. Facilities like Instant Account Opening where a customer can open an account in 15 minutes, Online Banking kiosks to learn and use Internet Banking and Express Banking Zone that includes ATM, Passbook printer and Cash Deposit Machine have been packaged into these branches. Remote Expert module and Debit Card printers would be introduced at a later stage at select branches. In the coming year 250 such branches will be opened across the country. Yet again emphasizing that SBI is the Banker to Digital India.
